Hi, can someone tell me where I can buy karaoke cds that will play in a home dvd player. I see a lot of posts selling karaoke cds for karaoke players as well as mp3/g and cd/g. I would prefer cds which are ready to play in a dvd player but if they are easy enough to convert. By the way what is the dvd format for karaoke discs and could someone please explain all this jargon.
Thanx

to play in a standalone dvd, your player must be able to play vcd format.
converting them takes a long while (ive given instructions on a post recently where a member was asking which karaoke player to buy).
i've seen one guy selling them cheap on the bst forum.

I have a full set of Original Footage VCD's which will play on DVD Players, the videos are of the original artists i.e Video of Abba - Waterloo is of them singing the song, and if you have the facility of removing vocals, you can sing the song yourself, whilst watching the video. There are 12 discs in the set........
