Hi...

Before I start, I'd like to say that I'm really, really, REALLY sorry itf this has been done before.

Ok, here's my situation...

As of 27/11/2002, I'm now the proud owner of a 'BOX, complete with Halo, Jet Set Radio Future and SEGA GT 2002.

I make a note to say that it's not chipped or modded in ANY way.

BUT, here's my problem...

On starting a game of Halo with my dad (laugh if you want), and having created player models, I saw a pic of the BOX with the name 'Howard' above it.

Now here's the question, where has the name Howard come from?

Any and all answers are welcome.

I think those names from Halo are randomly generated. Been a while since I played Halo tho, so I may be wrong.

yeah they are for multiplayer.. when you link 4 boxes together either via a hub (or straight crossover cable) then they need to identify themselves on their little network so it is known who is linked to who, so that is why yours is called howard.. i think mine is called Duffy or something equally as pap heheh.

you can change the name of your xbox with dead or alive 3

oh right.. and does that then stay the same for the future in halo and stuff, until you change it yourself again????

yes, that will remain the name of the xbox untill you change it again.

i think all you have to do is beat dead or alive 3 on the time mode

i'm pretty sure it's the time challenge mode.

anyways, that's how i changed the names of my xboxs
