(from cda to bin to mp3?) trading stan Nov 27, 2002, 04:04 PM hi gooty you have to read track with cdrwin which will make a bin file copy bin file to a folder which you can make using new folder method once you have the bin file in the folder left click then right click the folder you will have a drop down box open select bin to mp3+g hope this helps you out we have chatted a while a go i was on another name mp3g Nov 27, 2002, 04:30 PM or use wincdgpro and do the mp3g`s direct music2myears Nov 27, 2002, 07:54 PM Mail me I got an instruction sheet somewhere i think music2myears@ecosse.net vinniedub Nov 27, 2002, 07:55 PM it's just the reverse mate, once you have recorded the track or disc using cdrwin, place it in a folder, right click THE FOLDER, you already have the toolz program installed and you will see the option 'bin to mp3+G', click it..... TA! RAAAA! you can then get rid of the .bin and the .raw files in the folder leaving the mp3 and the .cdg files remember that the .cda files you see is just Compact Disc Audio which is what any audio CD looks like when you explore the CD TraffO7 Nov 28, 2002, 08:38 AM Vinnie.........just read your post.......sorry....there is a misunderstanding here from the start..........what Gooty and I are trying to do is convert a completed disc ( i.e. from .cda format to mp3+g ) Is there a way of doing this ???? Alan TraffO7@aol.com vinniedub Nov 28, 2002, 10:30 AM disregard the .cda files guys this is not what you want to be looking at, as I said .cda stands for Compact Disc Audio. Every normal audio CD (including karaoke discs) will look like this when you explore the CD. To convert your CD+G disc to mp3+G..........FIRST - fire up cdrwin, choose 'extract/disc/track/sectors' SECOND - click the 'select track' circle, also ensure the CD+G box is ticked, hit the browser button at the 'image filename' to choose which folder your disc is going to be recorded to, for the FULL disc to be recorded....under 'track selection' click 'select all' (it's also a good idea to tick 'name tracks sequentially' box) next click the 'start' button. cdrwin will now record all of the tracks you selected (the whole disc in your case) to your chosen folder. when this is done......... OPEN the folder you will see all of your tracks in .bin form CLOSE the folder...... RIGHT click on the OUTSIDE of the folder......choose 'bin to mp3+G' the TOOLZ program will now load (I use the beta version and from here it may differ if you are using a newer version) in the beta version however you just let the TOOLZ get on with it. Once complete if you look in the folder you will find .bin files .cdg files mp3 files and you may also find.raw files............ You can delete the .bin and the .raw files leaving........ .cdg and mp3 files your mission is now complete.......this message will self destruct in FIVE SECONDS! TraffO7 Nov 28, 2002, 10:38 AM Vinnie, you're a star.....that was as clear as mud, I mean crystal.....lol Thanks m8ey, now you've given me an enjoyable weekend ahead sorting some tracks out for a Kiddies B/day party. Appreciated, thanks again Alan TraffO7@aol.com vinniedub Nov 28, 2002, 08:51 PM Aye it's enjoyable alright........... the first twenty times max Glad to help though |
