Hi people, finally got the Executer 1.1 into my Xbox. I got it done by shop in England. Before I start with the REAL questions, the Xbox just boots up normally as before with the chip (i dont have evo X in it yet)????? I would open it up, but i lost my torx screw drivers (i think they got stolen).

Secondly, with links could you guys please point me to tutorials on how to FTP to the Xbox and which program should I use? I have telnet knowledge but cant seem to get into the Xbox from there so anything on FTP to the Xbox would be good.

Secondly, just point me to a good tutorial with Evo X that has everythig I will need to know.

I am thankful (as usuall) for any help you pro's provide. :)

Kjf,
your lucky!
i'm still looking for somebody to set up my xbox in Toronto, Ontario.
I've posted this request in the BST forum (new one).
No luck yet. :(

if you have a place around you that fixes computers they will probably do it for you if you provide them with a tutorial and a mod chip. because installing a mod chip is just like how they install new parts on a computer

i got mine done at a local place that fixes computers

hisam500,
thanks for your reply!
If installing the mod chip requires no soldering, then im sold!
I have no solder gun/skill to do such a thing.
Around here i guess its all underground. It's who you know that will hook u up. No connections for me, tho.

hisam500.,
ive been searching for a solderless alternative and found the Xodus (Matrix) chip.
The only negative things ive read:

- chip may get misaligned
- flash only has 256K mem

Pros, solderless and way cheaper than the local shop thats charging $150 for an evolution chipped soldered onto the xbox.

what do you think?

PS: nice site!
