Wrong dude..there are two ps2 emus for pc. in very early phase ofcourse. check out http://nsx2.emulation64.com/ for this emu: nSX2 V0.04 and http://pcsx2.ngemu.com/ for this one: PCSX2 Win v0.038 There's even a port for Linux! :) Jaice Nov 30, 2002, 04:06 PM Ok toofan, I knew that, but they won't play games, so no one consinder them as emulators. toofan Nov 30, 2002, 05:47 PM they will play games. just not comemrcial games. It's not like N64 emu or psx1 emu could play games when they came out.... patience dude :) Indiana Jones Dec 02, 2002, 07:18 AM Whats the point in an emulator that wont play commerical games, I saw a PS2 emulator once that all it did was reconise the disc was a PS2 disc. yoshi Dec 02, 2002, 10:05 AM there was a commercial psx emulator for the mac by connetix. However a long legal battle with sony over copyright infringement put an end to its sale. there is an n64 emulator for the mac which plays roms of n64 games. i have heard of a ps2 emulator for the mac but it only plays roms of commercial games as it cant read the commercial discs. never got round to finding a copy though. yoshi Indiana Jones Dec 02, 2002, 04:01 PM Originally posted by yoshi there was a commercial psx emulator for the mac by connetix. I have an N64 Emulator for the PC but it doesnt run GoldenEye very well and also, thought this was about an Emulator for the XBox not the PC or MAC |
