I have installed nero 5.5.9.9 and all was well, untill recently when it transformed itself into Nero Express.

What the fudge?

I've looked everywhere (i think) to try and turn it back to ordinary full version.

Can anyone tell me how i can turn it back the why it was?

If you hit the Nero button at the bottom of Nero Express it will change back to original Nero, if you then want to return it to Nero Express hit the button fourth from left with a small black arrow on it.

When i do that it just shows the splash screen.

The buttons are..... a blue question mark/Nero icon/more menu/exit.

when i press the Nero one it just shows a splash screen WTF is wrong.
There are 2 icons in my Programs menu one says Nero the other Nero Express.
It doesn't matter which i press because the Express version always loads.

Click on the Nero button, second from the left on the bottom.

The user interface will change.

Nero OEM Serial Numbers will either disable some features on Nero or only give you Nero Express, depending on the SN being used.

You'll need to obtain a full-version S/N then open Nero Express to enter the new S/N. With a full-version S/N, you can choose b/w full Nero or Nero Express to run.

.... just wondering... it might just be a little radical, but instead of wandering around questioning yourself how to resolve Nero again... did you ever concidered just removing the program and do a clean install of Nero again? :D
