...when using Nero it never gets past 2%
When using Clone CD I get the message "POWER CALIBRATION AREA ERROR".

Can anyone help me out?

First off try using a different brand of media....

its not the media m8, been burning all day and its just started playing up.
Also, the media (White Label) if fine on my other machine.

Dont doubt that at all but it could be that some of the media you are using is from a bad batch. I've had the same problems with Datasafe media,burnt about thirty discs in a session but out of that lot I lost about 4 discs with the same problem.

Have you got another brand or a CDRW to test out...?

Just tried to burn with another brand and...the same thing happened.
