berwyn2002 Dec 01, 2002, 01:56 PM I have the latest yamaha burner that writes the text on the back of the cd and I'm currently having problems with it. It will not recognize any disc at all and it won't burn. A screen comes up when I',m using Nero saying the burner is getting ready but it does not go past that piont. The drive does show up in properties but other than that, that's it. I'm running win me somebody please help thanks in advance. Van Nugent Dec 01, 2002, 02:46 PM Moving to CDRW. Are you using decent media, or very cheap stuff? Have you tried any other software than Nero? Have you upgraded to the latest firmware for the CD writer? Rolf. berwyn2002 Dec 03, 2002, 08:24 AM it was working properly and just suddenly stopped reading or burning cds and the thing is not even a month old. I installed everything and it just stopped working. Rolf Dec 04, 2002, 10:04 AM So, how was it working before you installed "everything"? What was it that you installed that made it stop working?
