I don't think you can hook your ps2 system to your computer's speakers......

but yes, you can hook your ps2 to your monitor by using a VGA box, which you can get one at www.lik-sang.com

I hook my ps2 to my pc all the time to record my game play into avi's. I use the ATI All-In-Wonder video card. I just plug the video and audio cables into my pc's video card and whalla! sound and video all on the pc.

yes. go to radioshack. They sell a a Y shaped cord that has a WHITE AND RED end (to plug in your two audiojacks from the ps2) and converts it to a headphone type to plug into the line in on ur pc!

Well, like I said before, get your 2 RCA to mini connector and go into your PC soundcard input jack.

Another way to get your ps2 to be able to play on your pc monitor and have sound via your pc sound card is with a tv card i bought mine from pc world for £50 its called wintv2000 it allows me to watch tv play the ps2 and listen to radio

its even more handy now im living in the usa so i can play my pal games via the pc monitor :)

there should be something were you can just plug it straight to the monitor. you need to have your PC on to use Wintv2000. i bet you only get to watch it in a window, or is it the full screen??

yeah u need the pc on but my pc is on all day anyway but yes its full screen and u can take still screenshots and if u really wanted to make avi movies with it
its also a good way to rip vhs to avi then convert to vcd :)

NO WAY!
for that u need the network adapter that plugs in the back of ur ps2, which i think is out in the US at the moment.
besides do u think SONY r that stupid??? they want to squeeze every penny out of u. that's why i chipped my ps2, to get back at them!

well, some usb routers/switch/hub will work I believe through the ps2 usb port? Could be wrong, but I thought I read some posts that people has done that. I could of been drunk though.

Swollen_Thumbs, what software do you use to record the avi`s while playing ?

I didn't read the replies, but I have a GF4 and a SB Extigy.

I input the PS2 into the SB using the optical out, and S-video into my GF4. I just use the capture software that came with my GF4 called ASUS digital VCR and if I want to record it I just hit the record button. This setup works great and is a no brainer to install.
