got a batch of datasafe 40x silver premiums to make audio cds from mp3s on my new liteon 40125s 40x writer and they seem to be naff.

they are readable by some cd players but not others and are unreliable.

tried 8 + 16x but they seem useless

other/previous media including bulkpaqs were ok

ne1 else had this?

my previous datasafes were good but these seem different despite same top printing:furious:

Hi No.9

I have had problems with Datasafe 'Blues' in the past which emmited exactly the same problems you are experiencing. I primarily use Datasafe 'Silvers' but must admit that i've probably had half a dozen which have been no good.
Where did you get them...? ask the supplier if they have had any probs, if they are anything like SVP they will take them back...

It was SVP and I've got to add that their service is the best anywhere.
