I'm looking for a burner that can read errors really quick and write dummy sectors really quick. The burner I have right now reads and writes errors very slow. I am wondering which brand is good for doing this stuff?

Writing errors should make no difference to writing without. You set it on say 40X then it should take the same time either way... At least it has with every burner I have ever owned/used.
My Plextor 1210s is very good at reading SafeDisc errors... I do not know if the same can be said for their current drives.
I also have a Lite-On 40125W and it is much slower at reading errors.
