dennisgb Dec 03, 2002, 11:46 AM I am backing up some original CDG's to MP3+G using CDRWIN and MP3+G Toolz on a Plextor Drive. It seems to take a long time to convert the Bin files to MP3+G...like 30 minutes or longer per disk...is this normal? TraffO7 Dec 03, 2002, 02:20 PM Have you registered your copy of CDRWIN yet ??? If not, you'll only be writing at 1x speed...which is the default setting for the Demo mode.....Check the settings under " Recording Options" If you need any more help, email me at addy below..... Alan dennisgb Dec 03, 2002, 05:23 PM The problem is not with CDRWIN (I have registered copy). The problem is when converting BIN to MP3+G which is in MP3+G Toolz software. The conversion to MP3+G takes 30 minutes or more. Is this normal? Holler Dec 03, 2002, 06:57 PM Yes it is normal... it takes a while to convert that many bin's (from one disk). Making a backup using CloneCD or Disc Juggler would only take a few minutes depending on the speed of your drive. :) |
