I have just bought a Cynerhome 402, it seems to be playing well but it just dont like Datasafe Ritek, all my other players are fine with them, before you say its the authoring its not, i author with spruce and burn with Prassi Primo DVD, which i have found is compatible with every DVD player i have ever tried.

Will a firmware update make it play the Datasafe Riteks correctly? it is running the firmware it was shipped with, a manufacturing date of August 2002 if thats any help.

As it stands now the films just jump everywere, freeze, skip e.t.c only on (so far) datasafe ritek, it is strange because it plays any old crap like Bulkpaq, Choice 2x e.t.c perfectly out of the box just not the Ritek.

Any advice very welcome.

Many Thanks

I burned a Ritek at 1x the other day and it worked perfect, just dont seem to like them burned at 2x, taking me half an hour longer but its well worth it, cheers for the info mate.
