When I use rempeg2 the picture comes out all blocky. So someone suggested CCE I hate that program all it does it take to much time and then fails. My computer I guess doesnt work with it well. Does anyone know any other way to convert the video using rempeg2 or another program? Any program would be helpful?

I'm sure if u give more details about your error in CCE someone will help u fix it.

CCE is the only reliable (quality, speed) method to reencode. Its hard to learn at first but if u do it once u never forget the steps. Try dvd secrets site for step by step instructions (search in google)

Hi M8, I am now a born again burner! :hdspin: I have been using rempeg2 now for ages and it just does my head in waiting so long for it to encode. My twin p3 system took 16 hours so I upgraded to an athlon xp2100+, 512 ddr memory and 7200rpm hdd and it still took 5-6 hours! I was put off CCE by the look of the guides, seemed a lot of grief but I was so fed up up with rempeg2 I just had to try it. WOW! I am now encoding all my movies in under 1.5 hours and the quality is fantastic! Movies over 7gb can be reduced to about 2.5gb and you would hardly notice any difference in quality. :hdspin:

Keep at it m8 with CCE its well worth it! :tup:
