Can Anyone Help Me With The Settings In cce For Length Of Film, Say You Have A Film 3 Hrs Or More & One 90 Minutes. The Settings Will Need To Be Diferent To Get It To Fit Onto A 4.7 Didc. Has Anyone Got Any Figures For Lengths Using 1 Pass VBR & 2Pass VBR. Which Settings Would Make The Size Bigger & Smaller , Anyone Understand The Setting Please Reply. I Would Be Most Gratefull For The Help, As Technical Isnt My Strong Point .
Thanks In Advance

Go to http://www.dvd2dvdr.com/Files/bitrate/BitrateCalc/BitrateCalc2.html

I don't think there is a garanteed way to do what you want because of the way different scenes are encoded but this calculator will give you a rough idea.

Heres what i do.

Open Tmpgenc, Then use the guide that starts up on the new versions.

Load your d2v file, then press next. There is a blue bar at the bottom that shows you the size of the film compared to the bitrate. Reduce the bitrate until the blue bar is under 4.7gb, (dont forget room for ac3 files and menus)

When you find a bitrate that will let the film fit on, start CCE then set the avarage bitrate to the one found.

You get me? :)

Its A Program That I Discovered Today Myself On Another Forum . It Calculates File Size To Bitrate So You Can Set Up CCE For Best Settings When Encoding. Its A Pucka Pice Of Software I Will Be Using It From Now On For Sure . I Cant Tell You The Site I Got It From As It Is Forbidden To Give Adresses, That Contain All Cracked Software. Sorry About That No Doubt If You Type It In A Search Engine Youll Come Up With Something.

Actually, you can just download it from the author's site: http://www.vanhouwelingen.com/marcvh/cceguesser/cceguesser.zip
