I currently run WinXP Pro and have Adaptec ASPI 4.6 installed. I had tried one iteration of 4.7, but was having trouble with some of my software and reverted to 4.6.

My question is: can ASPI coexist with ASAPI or are they mutually exclusive? I would very much like to install VOB Instant CD/DVD (I already paid for it - very stupid not to have checked into this first, I know), but I'm concerned my ASPI-dependent programs will be unusable.

ASAPI is an extension of ASPI so there shouldn't be any issues in having both on your system:

I tried VOB, and none of my other burning prog's would work, so i ditched it.

Thanks MrMP. I ended up doing the same thing. It looked like a pretty good program, though.
