Hi, Got the above writer, and cant seem to burn a decent tattoo onto the disc. those that i have tried have been very hard to see.
Am i doing something wrong or is it not all its cracked up to be.

Could be that the media you are using is just not that suitable. Try something with a nice dark dye.

Many thanks, i will have to see what i can get hold of. Do you think Black media would be any good?

I was thinking more dark blue Mitsubishi type discs. I don't know that black media uses that dark a dye. What you would be looking for is good contrast. I am sure that there would be cheaper media than Mitsubishi, etc. that also works well though, but I reckon it would be good just to test it.

I would think that if you checked Yamaha probably recommend media.
