What do I use to clean a laptop screen? and how should I do it?

I have a compaq laptop, and in the manual it says that you can clean the screen using a wet piece of cotton, I usually use those cotton balls to clean it, and then using a dry one. It works for me, no scratches no nothing.
You can always use one of those screen cleaner products:

I use a slightly damp kitchen towel and buff it up with a dry one. :)

urine works fine and leaves a very nice after scent. lol
