i have burnt a muti session cd in cdrwin but my cd drive is unable to read it. My cd drive at work reads it fine. I have updated the bios of the cd drive but it still doesn't read it. The cd drive in question is a cyber drive CW038D. Cheers

Is the CW038D the burner you are using to write the multisession discs?.
Looking at the specs ftp://209.133.97.230/CyberDrive/201-P01-4-CW038D.PDF there's no reason why it shouldn't read them.

Update to the latest version of cdrwin http://www.rocketdownload.com/details/musi/6074.htm

If you can still write the discs but not read them contact Cyberdrive.

The reviews look ok: http://www.cdrlabs.com/reviews/index.php?reviewid=72&page=Features , as it's bundled with Nero perhaps give that a try.

I had this happen to me as well with an old 24x cdrom drive from creative i think, but after a couple of tries it would read just fine.
The thing is, are you sure its not a media problem (low reflectivity)?

In my case this was the problem, some times it worked some times it didn't, but when I copied it (reading from the burner) on a better quality disk it was working 100%.....

Cheers for the info guys. Yes i used the CW038D to burn & read. Also used nero & cdrwin. Will try using Verbatim media to see if it is that.

Cheers again.
