Can I install Windows 98 into a small partitioned area on our new hard drive which will have XP Pro as the main OS?

I've heard this could be done so old programs run smoother in 98 rather than crash when using XP.

Thanx in advance-

Yes you can. :)

You will need to partition your hard drive and install 98 first on one partition and then XP on a seperate parition. There is a very good link for partition/format walkthrough's in the FAQ's.

I suggest u use Partition Magic 8.0. It makes partitioning very easy. Just run the prog and theres a wizard for installing a new OS :)
