As above really,
I have managed to create a web page using frontpage, but I am not that experienced with this sort of thing and dont really know about uploading the site and hosting etc...
Will this cost me, or are there people who will host it for free?. I dont really have much of an idea here, and I really would like to set all this up so I can build up customers etc.

Really any advice you can offer me on this subject will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance,

Lee.

You will need to find a web host that has front page support Im not sure if there will be many free ones that do so you will most likely need to pay for hosting which will also require you to register a domain name.

Your best bet is to learn some basic html it can be learned in 10 mins and then you can use a text editor to create your web pages and can use any hosting available. Try google for newbie html tutorials

if you are going to register a domain name have a look here https://oneandone.co.uk

I have just sign up with them and the price is quite good, and it was very easy to sign up only took me 15min.

also you will need a FTP Client so that you can transfer your pages to your web space, the one i use is called WS_FTP LE you can get it from here http://www.ipswitch.com

There are other FTP programs out there so just give some of them a try.

Also before you buy web space from someone? most of the ISP give you a certain amount of free web space, i would use that first to play about with then when you get used to it buy some more then transfer your web site to that.

You don't need a host that has Frontpage support UNLESS you have used Frontpage extensions. If you have written basic HTML any host will do.
