running win xp home edition. the bin has gone completely. did a search for "recycle" and nothing. any one had this before?

Try this right click on the My Computer icon, and select Explore. In the left pane you will see Recycle Bin . Click and drag it to the desktop. It will say cannot move to this location, would you like to create a shortcut. Just hit yes and there you go.

I have a recycle bin issue. If I put anything in and delete it it doesnt clear the space it took up on the hard drive. I have to use other software to delete stuff now. Any ideas?
