HI,

Does anyone know of a tool that will read the contents of a .bin or .ISO file without having to burn it to a disc? I want to be able to read the whole basic image structure (files & folders) .ie like Winows Explorer.

This would hopefully save burning an image to cd to find out
a)whether it is a valid image or not and
b)what the image contains.

Many thanks

http://www.daemon-tools.com will let you mount it as a virtual CD. As will fantom CD.

You could also use a program like ISOBuster to extract the contents.

WinImage is a good one. It's HERE (http://www.winimage.com/winimage.htm)

IsoBuster is all over the place. Try HERE (http://www.cdmediaworld.com/hardware/cdrom/cd_utils_1.shtml)

Just tried WinImage and it works a treat on both ISO and bin's

Thanks - no more coasters (hopefully) :bouncing:
