Till the other day the writer accepted both Sony and Imation blanks that I always use. Now suddenly no more. All the writer does is flash the green LCD. Disc after disc gets rejected.
What on earth could be going on and how do I fix it?

Greets :) Have You Ever Updated the Firmare? You May try that with the NEWER MEDIA the firmare my be need updated to see the media!!

Besure to get the Correct "Firmware" as flashing to the wrong firmware you could DOA Drive

Hi m8, have you defragmented your hard drive lately, if not that could be the cause. Normally its either that or faulty media.

It could be that you have got a bad batch of discs? :confused:

My 12101B eats everything I throw in it, even lousy 4M, CMC magnetics and such.
Sony has always made good discs IMHO, and I have uesd many of them. What firmware do you have in it? I would first try to upgrade it. :)
