I want to get one of these sound cards. The Sound Blaser Audigy won Maximum PC's gear of the year award. Recently the MP3 and Gamer versions have came out and I'm not too sure on what the differences are. I think they are just the software... Correct me if I'm wrong.

You're right. They're all the same card except with the software it's bundled with. My advice is to just get an OEM version of it.
