I get the message "insert empty media" every time I try to burn. Have tried to burn with different media but get same message. The media works fine on my other burner. Only bought yesterday; worked OK then. Using the Nero software that was bundled with it.

i'm not sure but are you trying to burn a cd @ a faster speed than your media are turn this down in the burn options tab just when you load up nero
