is there another way of transfering files from my pc to my xbox using my cross over cable..other from using the method of changing the PC's IP address...
is it possible to change to the xbox ip to suit rather than changing my pc...because when i plug my blueyonder in after my ip changes and i dont want this too happen...

yes you can change the IP in exox.ini File to Suit

can u only change it in the ini or can u do it on the evox settings screen?

You can do it through the menu also. But it will only save if you have it on the Hard Drive. If you boot off a dvd-r or cd-rw. It won't save.
