does anyone know how to get unbanned from xbox live? I had a chip in my xbox and I took it out so I could play. but now I got banned. i was able to connect for awhile but not anymore. I called xbox live and they said there is something in the xbox that sends a signal and thats why you cannot connect. I didn't have my chip in the xbox when i got banned though. does anyone know how to fix the thing that sends the signal to xbox live

wierd, have you flashed the onboard BIOS at all?
Anyhow, xbox-scene has articles/tutorials on it. But once you get banned you are pretty screwed, until you can generate new info on your xbox.

Did you install 'DVD-X v1.0 with Dongle'. cos i think it patches the eeprom in the xbox.

The ban doesn't seem to take effect instantly. Some people report not getting banned until days after they tried to connect with the chip on.

There's no sure fire way to unban a system. There's lots of speculation that it can be done, but I haven't read about anyone actually getting it to work. Buy a new one, and use the one you currently have just to play your backups.

ive just had my xbox chipped so does this mean i cant use x box live?? which i havent tried yet but thinking of giving ago at it when i get unreal. i think the chip is a xecutor2 or summit thats what it says when i boot it up?? any help thanks
