ive just downloaded the latest drivers. how do i get rid of the old drivers completely?

or do i just click on the latest drivers ive just downloaded and write over the top of the old ones?

You can put the new one over the top but its best to uninstall the old ones first. Go to the control panel > system then look in your hardware devices. In the list should be videoadapter, or graphics card. Click on properties and uninstall the driver.

Then reboot and your computer will detect the gfx card, ignore the new hardware wizard and install the new driver.

There are some problems when upgrading the DetonatorXP Driver from 30.xx To 40.xx. try installing this,http://www.jester2k.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/downloads/Detonator%2030.xx%20To%2040.xx%20Fix.exe then run the installation again
