hi again,, another wierd problem,, puter boots just fine,, but no icons,no quick start,, nothing at all!!had to get online by 3 finger salute, then i am able to access the programs, dont know what to do,please help, I am running win 2000, amd 700, 384 mgs ram,creative 52x cdrom, plextor 121032, maxtor 20 gig hdd, asus tnt2 pro, asus a7v mainb.thanks,,,

p.s,, could be something the kids did, as i havew little ones playing but are usually supervised, only thing that i have done lately is install an aspi layer as i was crashing alot,cant even get into safe mode to do anything!!

To Enable icons:

Right click on deskop
"Arrange Icons By"
"Show Desktop Icons"

Make sure show desktop icons is checked.

To Enable Quick Start:

Right Click on the taskbar
"ToolBars"
"Quick Launch"

Make Sure quick launch is checked.
