I am having a very hard trouble playing my video files. Here is what I did:

Install a fresh copy of Windows XP
Installed the SP1 service pack
Installed my nVidia GeForce4 4200 card with latest drivers
Installed Windows Media Player 9 Series
Then installed Nimo Codec Pack build 8

I installed everything in the nimo pack execpt for the TFM Audio Filter v1.0 beta 7 as it says on the officail website. Now I get a Send Error Support that says something about subtitds.ax. How am I supposed to fix this? Thanks

I installed nimo codec but could only get them to run when i downloaded divx 5 with player.
I am running player 8 and not 9 though.

hope this helps.

subtitds.ax is Tobias' subtitle mixer filter. You really only need it if you are going to play ogg media streams with subtitles.

Yes, I am playing OGM files that has optional subtitles. How can I download this file and install it myself?

Just had a look at the Nimo changelog and it has v0.9.9.1 of the OGGDS, current version is 0.9.9.5. It doesn't say what version of the subtitle filter, but I would assume that it is also old.

Just another reason, why I really dislike the Nimo codec pack... Best to just install the codecs/filters that you need and make sure that they are up todate, rather than installing lots of different codecs, filters and software that you don't need and that there are much newer versions out for anyway.

I hear that Nimo isn't too good at uninstalling either.

Also personally I would not use wmp9. Use v6.4 or classic.
