When i insert the action replay disc no menu appears. If i put the disc in with out the cartridge then it says please insert hardware so i do then i still get no menu. I think my action replay is bust but do the ones currently for sale work just like the old ones? oh my mod is a s-box. Can any one help?

You can try to boot up your action replay with the cartridge inserted. After the ps2 logo press and hold R1+R2+L1+L2+Start to reset your action replay cartridge.
