:confused: My ps2 for some reason only plays backups and dvd's don't work anymore. What can i do to fix this problem. I want to play vice city but it won't work because it is a dvd.

Ghost of Christmas past maybe! ;) Does your PS2 not even play DVD films now mate? I'd try cleaning the laser first, if that makes no difference then its most likely that your laser has breathed its last and its time for a new one. You're looking at around £45 for a brand new one but that doesn't include fitting... Simple enough to do though if you're careful...
