I tried using Ulead visual studio...but it's works good half of the time.
It'll extract the movie file sometimes and sometimes it doesn't.
Ulead seems to make avi although I choose mpeg.



OS is xp.
Camcorder is Sony trv320 Digital camcorder.
Connect using Firewire.

ANy fix for Ulead visual studio or any software recommendation?

i've used versions 7 and 8 of pinnacle's studio and it works well.

Just started doing this myself.
Have found Adobe Premiere 6 pretty good although a bit difficult to get started on, but once your away its good.
