i have just got beachlife for the pc but after installing it i try to run it and get the eidos screen up then just a black screen with the mouse moving about. the keyboard is then locked and i have switch it off and reboot. i know the game works because i installed it and started playing it on another computer that had a lower spec than the one i have. i currently have an amd 1800 with 60gb harddrive, 512mb of ddr ram and a dvd and cd writer. i've installed the latest directx but still no joy. can someone please help me?

Try to update your video card driver.

done that and also updated to directx 9 but i'm still getting the same thing happen.

Are you overclocking?

not as far as i know. how do i check?
