hi folks.

Tough one this.

Got to go look at a machine that uses a Non windows OS to run an insurance quotes package. The package talks to the printer (a Kyocera fs1900) in PRESCRIBE language.

Anyone know how to program this?

I need to instruct the printer to take paper for different pages form different trays. Specifially, take the cover page from tray 1 and all other pages form tray 2.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help....

Well, good question. We use Kyocera printers where I work and PRESCRIBE is the language they use. It seems that all this is stored on that flash card sticking out of the side. Thus ends my knowlege of this area.

So I googled a bit and found this...
You will need the ICLink proggie from here:
http://www.kyoceramita.com/download/ICLINK_24.exe

I found a PDF that may help you set up what you need to do here:
http://www.tiburonsystems.com/downloads/preforms-3-6-1.pdf

I hope this helps, I hate to see a board question go unanswered :-)
