I am at 250 + DVD's now using nero. Prassi isn't even on my pc anymore, since a complete format/reinstall a couple of months back. The only issues I have had were from that hacked firmware, which is gone now.
Some people are now using Record Now Max, which is the newest version of the veritas/prassi primo software. I have not tried it, because nero works fine for me. I am using ver. 5.5.9.0. Don't use the wizard, just use DVD video mode. To update nero, just download the latest version, and it will automatically update the program.

Oh, and smartripper doesn't do images, but dvd decrypter does. Ifoedit will edit/author files that have been ripped from a dvd, into the format ready for burning, but without a menu. DVD decrypter's iso mode will create an image, or burn an image. Smartripper is a good allaround ripper though, and more often than not, the one I use.
