I've only recently tried to play DVDs on my pc. The first DVD I tried was a copy and the second was an original. Neither played. Audio cd's play OK. Any ideas what the problem might be?

You can even use Windows Media Player,which comes with most versions of Windows. celtic_druid Dec 25, 2002, 01:36 AM Just like to point out that you need to have an MPEG2 codec installed for wmp to work also probably an AC3 codec. Westender1 Feb 10, 2003, 09:20 AM I've been busy of late so haven't had a chance to sort this problem out. I have PowerDVD installed and Windows Media Player. Windows Media Player plays mpg's ok. Can you open a folder and look at the contents? Can you right click on the drive icon and choose properties and see the size of the DVD or the name or anything? |
