Ok, I read through lots of the posts.

Sorted a lot of problems already, I am trying to use CCE&AviSynth2.

I have

DVD2AVI V1.76
AVISynth 2.07
CCE 2.66

My avs file plays and tests fine in mediaplayer, and I can load it into CCE without any problems, I can set options in CCE etc. I can even encode,

But the damn CCE won't let me save the Project?? Can't save ecl file.

My avs file is simple, 2 lines

LoadPlugin("C:\Program Files\AviSynth2\MPEG2DEC.dll")
mpeg2source("C:\DVDRip\WhatLies.d2v")

I dunno what's wrong...........I can't save the CCE project - so I can add chapters to it (following doom9's tutorial)

Is it the version of CCE? I can encode but can't save the project.

2.5 ASKS me to save before I begin encoding, and if I make any changes to the settings, it ASKS me again before I start encoding. I can also click file, and save at anytime. Don't know whats up with 2.66.

as far as i thought, you don't have to save, it makes no difference, at least it doesn't when i do it, and i never save

Anyone gotten it to save in CCE 2.66?

The encoded video looks fine, I can't save the Project for some reason

Sounds like you have a badly cracked trial version. In which case I can't help you... nor can anyone else around here.

If I am wrong and you actually paid $2000 USD for it or whatever, then I appoligise for closing this post.

If that were the case, then you should just contact Custom Technology for support anyway.
