I have used a firmware update and got dvd region killer for my pioneer 116 dvd rom, however i would like to region free my dvr105 and it still is region 2 even though i have dvd region killer.

is it possible to do this yet, or has the firmware not been hacked as yet? and is it recommended to do this with a dvr105
