i have a dvr105, is there a way of copying games so that they will work for each differnt console without having to put a mod chip in them. (i don't mean can you make an xbox game play on a ps2 or a gamecube, just ie, an xbow game copy that wouldn't require a chipped xbox)

XBox, ask in XBox, but I am almost 100% sure that it ain't possible.
PS2, ask in PS2, but I believe it may be possible to use a swap trick.

No. They all need chips, or at least some device to boot backups. There is a swap method for PS2, but even that requires a Gameshark, and won't work with half the games.

Where did you hear that, the swap method works on all games, even some games that older mod chips wont boot, the trick is that you have to use an original game that has a bigger toc than the backup otherwise the backup will have loading problems or might not even run.

err the swop trick wont work on DVD-RIP games on cd that are above 71 or 73 mins as there is no original boot disk bigger then that size.

As I said if you want to discuss PS2's, do it in the PS2 forum.
