ROCKSTER

I always back-up my son's games since in the past they have become unuseable. I was unable to copy GTA III last night using Win ME, Plextor 40x12x40, Nero 5.5 on a Phillips 40X CDR. I just discovered ClonyXXL here on your forum but haven't had a chance to even see what the problem is. I was able to sucessfully copy the Install disk #1, but not the "Play" disk.
Thank you

The game is protected with safedisc 2.51. There are many programs that can beat this protection but the easiest to use is CloneCD (its the program to use ClonyXXL with). Get it here: www.elby.de

Keep in mind though that your burner does not fully support SD2, so I am not sure if you will be able to make a 1:1 copy or not. Anyway, I'm moving this to VGB.

I too have a 1:1 backup of GTA3... so what??
There is no trading on this board it is all done at http://www.**********.com which is where ROCKSTER would look if he/she wanted to trade/buy a copy.
Untouchables, if I catch you offering stuff for sale here again we will soon find out just how "untouchable" you are.
