I was going to purchase the new action replay at best buy tomorrow and was wondering if the codes will work with dvd-r backups? I have a ps2 v4 with the magic 3 chip. The reason I'm asking is because codebreaker wont load up if you "use codes" with dvd-r but will work on cd-r backups. I use good quality dvd-rs. I dont know why they dont work and Ive asked here before but no one will answer me. Oh another question what about the new ps2 drivers? Will they work and not conflict with my modchip? Thanks!

ok I noticed that the action replay is not coming out until next month but is there anyway to use the gameshark or codebreaker to cheat on these damn games (dvd-r). Do you need at least a somewhat of a new version? Will someone answer me? Hell, even a smartass reply (with an answer) would be appreciated.

PLEASE SOMEONE ANSWER AS I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW TOO AS I HAVE ACTION REPLAY V2 NOT GOT ANY DVD-R GAMES YET TO TRY AS I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW FIRST I GOT MAGIC 3 (PS2 V7 I THINK)

I've heard that the magic 3 doesn't support GS2/AR2, well, it boot up gs2 and ar2 normally, but when you use it for codes to boot up a backup games.... it doesn't work.......
