HI guys, I've been trying to load and play this game on my SONY laptop.

It's got:
ATHLON XP 1800
512 MB DDR RAM
Windows XP home
Ge FORCE 420 2 go Video
Sound blaster compatible sound card
DVD/CDRW drive

The problem happens when I try to start the game it gives me an error as soon as I hit play the game.

Do I just need the newest patch or is this a known problem with the Backup. I will try and download the patch and try that.

It's just a guess as I don't know the game.

But my best guess is that the protection on your backup has A.T.I.P

Which means that the game looks at your backup, recognises that it is on a CDR disk and realises that this is a copy, so won't run.

Solution is to either use a patch or better still download the latest Clone CD v4.2.0.2 and use the HIDE CDR feature which prevents the game from checking if the game is on a CDR disk.

Just another point.

If you run the backup from a CD ROM drive this problem does not occur.
