Trying to make a multi-game DVD - having a few problems.

I've made the ISO (I cant burn with Prassi) and burnt it using CDRWIN. The DVD boots without problems. I get onto the menu with my games (Just Crazy Taxi 3 and Champ Man 02/03 for now). When I select a game, the problems start:

With Crazy Taxi, the screen remains on 'Please Wait' and the game doest boot.

With Champ Man, the game boots (although there is some error at he bottom I cant read about a damaged disc). I get to the opening screen where it says 'press start', I do this and then the game stays on the black screen, and doesnt load.

Both of these games work individually on separate DVDR's

Can anyone shed any light on this situation?

Thanks

Come to think of it, I had this problem before, when I was burning the Snes emulator (it would just hang on the latter half of the roms).

I found this was because I changed the roms into and XBOX iso first and then burnt. I fixed the problem by burning with the Prassi method.

However, that was with my CD-RW, not my new DVD+RW. Prassi does not recognise my DVD writer. I have used the PX Engine update (in which my writer is listed as updated), yet it is still not detected?

Has anyone had any luck with getting Prassi to work with the RICOH MP5125 DVD+R/RW?

Thanks

Are you using the Hacked XDemo? Try using short DIR names, I use like 1 character path now, like DIR=C for Crazy Taxi 3 or something.

That's fixed all the games that didn't want to work before for me.

No, that didnt work, thanks anyway.

Is there another way to burn (not Prassi of RecordNow) these files without first making them an ISO?

FIXED!

It was damn 'XISO'. Used IsoMaker and all games booted perfectly.

lol, XISO sucks, been saying that forever. I just burn using Prassi as Datadisc.

if you use the ISOs, other PCs can't read them well not directly to copy files off them as you can using datadisc.
