i was running a backup copy of the original sims on win 98 SE it worked fine.
Recently i upgraded my operating system to Win XP pro, and now i just cant get the game installed.
I tried locating the setup file on the disc manually, but i just get a message telling me to insert a disc into drive e:/
I have changed nothing on my computer except for the operating system.
Anyone have any ideas whats wrong the damn thing? :mad:

uninstall - reinstall (the sims that is)
what drive letters are your cdrom drives?

I thnk I have read stuff somewhere about Admin user priviledges effecting the sims...
