I bought a used modded xbox. It has an old Evolution x dashboard with the white background. How do I upgrade the Evolution x dashboard to the latest one? What files do I need to copy?

get the iso from www.toofan.tk burn it to a cd. boot from cd. go to settings. u see ur xbox IP. connect to it by ftp. copy the files from cd to c:`in ur xbox. rename default.xbe to xboxdash.xbe.

I got it from your website and I burnt the iso image onto a cdrw disc. but when I put it in the xbox, it won't boot up and I can even see the content of the CD. I also tried it on a pc cd rom and it can't read it either. Then I burnt it on a cdw disc and still couldn't boot it up. Can you help me please?

the just xtract the iso with a iso tool you can find it on the net.
and ftp the evoxdash.xbe to you c drive and modifie the evox.ini to your needs or use your old one.

Now I am confuse. Do I copy and rename default.xbe to xboxdash.xbe or just copy the evoxdash.xbe and leave the default.xbx? What do I need to modify the evox.ini? Can someone also help me on how to add Windows media player to the xbox? Thanks.

you have to rename the evoxdash to xboxdash.xbe but make a copy of the xboxdash.xbe first just in case;)
