After upgrading win98se to winme after which computer would work, so after lots of messing on i put my HDD in sons comp and transfered my data.
Then i right clicked on my drive and selected format quick erase.

After putting it back in my comp and using boot disk is now says Fdisk options should i 1. Create DOS partition or logical DOS drive
2. Set active partition

If your drive has already been formatted you wont need Fdisk as your partition is all ready to have your operating system installed on it. Dont use the boot floppy, Just put your Windows cd in your cd drive and set your computer to boot from cdrom first and follow the instructions on screen.
