I currently use kazaa lite 2.02 but was wondering is there any other peer to peer software that is better for sharing mp3's and games?

I was considering winmx but does anyone know if it contains any spyware?

also i thought kazaalite didn't contain spyware? saw some people saying that it does on the audio forum.....

oh yeah and is it ok to run two p2p prgrams at the same time?- in terms of computer resources etc. i'm connected to internet via a broadband router and and have 2200xp machine with 512mb of ram if that helps

as far as imaware winmx doesnt contain spyware, and runnning two P2P programs doesnt make a difference, go for it m8 :)

You could also try Imesh http://www.imesh.com/
and for MP3 Blubster http://www.blubster.com/

Most of them say thay have not got any spyware? but thay have. other wise you would not get them for free.

Kazaa lite doesn't contain spyware, this came up on another forum that i've been on and some people ran tests and it doesn't try to 'phone home' for verified games etc. for kazaa lite you should try the forums at www.k-lite.tk HTH

i like direct connect
ive USED dc++, but some of my favorite hubs on DC sometime kick the dc++ users

alot better than kazaa lite, except for searching for music, which doesnt list bitrate, length, etc

UAPyro.. I hear ya. I'm still not quite sure as to why certain hubs don't allow ++ (might be a problem with the hub serving program). Also some hubs are pretty strict about joining (100 gig share? 6+ slots? Satellite connection? Waaaayyyy out of my league.).
