Couple things here... check your color correction settings on your display card driver software (usually a few clicks from where you set your screen resolution). Then check your color balance settings on the monitor itself. If both of the above are OK, try reinstalling graphics card drivers. If that dosen't fix it unplug your monitor from your computer and check the pins to see if any have been bent.

If all of the above check out OK, I would say you may have a hardware problem. Try swapping out the monitor and graphics card one at a time (I would say the monitor is more suspect here, but never hurts to check). It is possible that your CRT is just plain FUBAR.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPEN YOUR MONITOR TO REPAIR IT, or for any other reason. The tube carries a VERY high voltage, months after it is unplugged. If your monitor goes bad throw it out and get a new one.

fubar = broken (toss it in the waste bin)

CRT = cathode ray tube (your montior is essentially a CRT with a bunch of electrons flying about inside of it [kinda simplified, but meh])
